At T&L Carpets, we take pride in our workmanship, whether it's fitting a domestic carpet or fitting laminates in a commercial premises.
Carpet & Carpet Tiles
T&L Carpets offer a wide range of carpets and carpet tiles, in both price and quality. Whether you are looking to refurbish a rented property or your own home we can supply and fit the carpet you want. We also lay carpets in commercial properties and businesses, such as shops and offices. Whether it is plain or patterned, twist or wool, luxury or natural, we have hundreds of samples for you to choose from. We also offer a range of underlay to prolong the life of your carpet, including cloud 9, cosi, softwalk and duralay. We are also happy to work on a fit only basis if you have already purchased the carpet.
We offer a free carpet measure and quotation service, and can provide impartial advice regarding the suitability, duration and aesthetics of any carpet.
Vinyl
We are also able to offer a wide range of vinyl samples in all design styles from tiles, wood effect, plain and patterned. We are happy to loose lay or stick all over as discussed with you prior to the fitting. Vinyl is ideal and usually associated with kitchens and bathrooms, as it is low maintenance and moisture and slip resistant. It is actually also perfect for other areas of high use, such as hallways and playrooms. Whether you prefer traditional colours or styles, a wood floor effect or tiles we have hundreds of samples for you to choose from.
Real wood
T&L Carpets are experienced in fitting glue and tongue and grooved real wood. Real wood floors are suitable for virtually every room in the home or commercial premises. It offers a stylish and timeless environment and is durable and easy to care for. We are able to offer a range of woods for you to select from, or are happy to work on a fit only basis.
Laminate
Laminate offers the beauty of a wood finish without the cost of a solid wood floor. Laminate brings a contemporary style to your home or work place, with the additional benefits of being easy to clean, scratch resistant and extremely hard wearing. We work with a range of laminates: quickstep, tarkett, balterio, and are happy to install your own laminate also.
Hard boarding, screeding & plyboarding
A smooth surface is essential with all types of floor coverings, to give the best effect. The method which should be used to achieve an even floor is dependent upon the floor type. If you have an uneven wooden floor, then hard board will be sufficient for the majority of jobs. Occasionally, however, if it is exceptionally uneven you will need Plyboard to be fitted. If however, you have an uneven concrete floor, we would need to screed the floor in order to provide a smooth finish. We are happy to provide impartial advice on whether these are required in each case.
Adaptions (refits) and repairs
As well as supplying new carpet, we are able to re use and re fit your existing carpet. It may be that you want a new lounge carpet but the carpet would still be suitable for your bedroom. If this is the case, we are happy to uplift and re fit this carpet in the relevant room. In addition to this, in the majority of cases we are able to repair any damage to carpets or vinyls which may mean you don’t need to change them!
